Passing Identification (for individuals)

The instruction describes the procedure for mandatory identification and logging into the Unified State Services Portal for individuals. It explains the stages of in-person identification at the Government Service Center (GSC), biometric confirmation, and rules for accessing government services.

Step-by-Step: Quick Guide

To access government services, you need to complete 3 steps:

  1. Register in the IMZO app
  2. Personally complete identification at the Government Service Center (GSC)
  3. After that, use the state services portal and receive services

⚠️ Important: without personal identification at the GSC, access to most government services on the portal will remain unavailable.

Step 1. Registration in the IMZO app

You can also register with the assistance of a Government Service Center (GSC) employee by visiting the Center.

Step 2. In-person identification at the GSC (mandatory)

After registration, you must personally visit the Government Service Center (GSC) one time.

  • Copies or photos of the passport are not accepted

How identification works (what will happen)

  1. Getting a ticket
  • You arrive at the GSC;
  • Get an electronic ticket (for the GSC service - Personal account identification) and wait for your turn.
  1. Passport verification
  • You hand over your passport to the GSC employee;
  • The employee verifies the document.
  1. Passport scanning
  • The passport is scanned from both sides;
  • Data is automatically filled in the system;
  • The employee checks the data against the passport.
  1. Face scanning (biometrics)
  • Special equipment scans your face;
  • The system compares the image with the photo in the passport.
  1. Completion of identification
  • If the data matches, the identification is completed;
  • Your account receives the "identified" status.

⏱ The procedure takes an average of 5 - 10 minutes.

What you get after identification

After successfully passing identification at the GSC, the following actions are performed:

1) The GSC employee completes the procedure. Your account is assigned the "Identified" status.

2) Log out of your IMZO account and log in again.

3) After re-logging into the IMZO app:

  • go to the "Profile" tab;
  • click on the "Biometrics" option;
  • pass the biometric verification (scan your face (selfie)).

4) Upon successful completion of biometrics, a window with a green checkmark and a "Continue" button will appear.

5) The appearance of this window means that the identification has been successfully completed.

After this, the full functionality of the system becomes available to you. You will be able to:

  • use the available features of the IMZO app;
  • log into the personal account of the Unified State Services Portal;
  • submit applications online;
  • receive government services.
Important
  • 📱 The phone number provided during identification at the GSC must match the phone number used for registration and login in the IMZO app.
  • Access to government services will be limited without confirmed biometrics.
  • Identification is performed only once;
  • Re-identification is required only in case of changes to personal data or upon request of the authorized body;
  • Identification is carried out in the personal presence of the applicant;
  • The use of passport copies is not permitted.
