The Range of State Civil Status Registration Services Has Been Expanded on the eKhizmat Portal
We are pleased to inform citizens that new digital services for the state registration of civil status acts are now available on the Unified Government Services Portal, eKhizmat.
These services have been introduced by the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan, as part of the implementation of Government Resolution No. 72 of 2 March 2023, which provides for the improvement, automation, and digitalisation of government services.
The following digital services are now available:
- Registration of a child’s birth;
- Registration of marriage;
- Registration of divorce for spouses who have no joint minor children;
- Registration of divorce on the basis of a court decision;
- Registration of divorce upon the application of one spouse;
- Registration of death.
The introduction of these digital services aims to improve accessibility and simplify interaction between citizens and civil status registration authorities.
To use these services, citizens must register on the portal and complete the identity verification procedure. They can then select the required service under the “Family and Children” section, review the applicable requirements, and follow the instructions provided.
The requirements, processing times, and payment information for each service are available on the relevant service page of the portal.
